Postgraduate Degrees
Our postgraduate degree programmes are divided into Taught and Research tracks. Taught degrees are for students wishing to further their legal education by specialising in certain areas or for non-law graduates seeking to acquire specific legal skills. Our primary taught degree for law graduates is the one year LL.M. degree. We have also partnered with the Catholic University in Lyon, France, to offer a dual LL.M. degree in international business law.
Non-law graduates can study for our taught Master of Legal Science - M.L.S. - degree.
Our research postgraduate degrees are primarily tailored to meet the needs of students interested in pursuing academic or research careers. Other students - particularly practicing lawyers - interested in building up research expertise in a particular area of law would also benefit from this track. The highest research degree offered by the Department is the Ph.D.
