BCL Law & Arts
Students graduate with a Bachelor of Civil Law (Level 8 Honours) awarded by National University of Ireland and recognized by the Law Society of Ireland and the Honorable Society of King’s Inns. Our BCL is unique is permitting first year students to attend the lectures of any Arts subject during the first three weeks of term so that they can be sure of their preferred choices.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
The BCL prepares graduates for a variety of careers including litigation, providing legal advice in transactional settings, government, regulatory agencies, public service, international and non-governmental organizations and the media. As a joint honours degree, the BCL produces a law graduate whose horizons have been extended by advanced study of a liberal arts subject. For students who wish to keep their options open while acquiring a law degree recognized by the legal professions, the BCL may be the preferred choice.
