BBL Law & Business
Students graduate with a Bachelor of Business and Law (Level 8 Honours) awarded by National University of Ireland and recognized by the Law Society of Ireland and the Honorable Society of King’s Inns. The BBL degree is tailored to meet the aspirations of those seeking a career at the intersection of law and business.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
The BBL prepares graduates for a variety of careers including litigation, providing legal advice in transactional settings, government, regulatory agencies, business, and the media. Having acquired skills in economics, marketing, accountancy, and human resources, the BBL graduate offers expertise in law with a strong foundation in commerce. For students intending to leverage their knowledge of the law into a career in business, or, conversely, to leverage their knowledge of business into a career in law, the BBL may thus be the preferred choice.
COURSE STRUCTURE
As a Single Honours Bachelor of Business and Law degree, a range of business and legal subjects are taken in all years.
There are two options in Second and Third Year: Joint Honours with Law and Business or Major/Minor with Law (Major) and a Minor in Business.

NB: If you enrol as a general Arts student (MH101), you may choose Law as one of your three first year subjects. If you do well in your assessments, you may join the BCL stream in second year.
