LLB Bachelor of Laws
The LLB is a full-time, four-year, primary law degree. Students graduate with a Bachelor of Laws (Level 8 Honours) awarded by the National University of Ireland and recognized by the Law Society of Ireland and the Honorable Society of King’s Inns. The aim of the LLB is to produce law graduates who can compete with the best in the world.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
The LLB prepares graduates for a variety of careers including litigation, providing legal advice in transactional settings, government, regulatory agencies, public service, international and non-governmental organizations, commerce, and the media. As a full-time law degree, the LLB offers a stronger grounding in law and in legal writing and professional skills than our two ‘Law &’ degrees. For students intending to pursue a career in the legal professions, LLB is thus the preferred choice.
