Maynooth's first Moot Court took place in the week of the 8th of March 2010. Two second year teams made it through to the final. They were Aoife Yeates, Niamh McHugh, Katie Nolan and Ciara Shinnick, who argued for the plaintiff, with Ciara Shinnick speaking in the semi-finals and Katie Nolan speaking in the final.

This team faced John O' Brien, Miriam Ryan, Conor Hennessey and Sam Hare, who argued for the defendant, with John O' Brien speaking in the semi-final and Sam Hare in the final.

After some tough questioning from the judges, Aoife Yeates, Niamh McHugh, Katie Nolan and Ciara Shinnick were declared the winners.
